When the GM of Black Tap set out to open his own restaurant, he invited Madonna+Child in from day one – before there was a name, building, or visual direction. He wanted to create a fine fast-casual Italian concept inspired by the cicchetti bars of Venice: places where quality and craftsmanship meet ease and approachability. The goal was to redefine what Italian dining could be… not red-sauce and nostalgia, but modern, refined, and soulful.
